I love this guitar
I just found out my guitar was finalized by Gibson master Luthier Jim Higgins. It is an 87′ first year of the re-issue
it’s beautiful
Sweet guitar, love the Gibson jazz boxes

What’s not to like about an L4…Very nice axe.
Thanks. I have a lot of guitars and I always come back to playing it
But there is a little mystery to to this guitar. It has stamped on the back of the neck “Not For resale”. It is the first year of reproduction for the L4. Gibson says they did not sell seconds from this batch. But it must be or it was used as a sample or at NAMM or something. Anybody know anything about this?
Sweet!
Really nice guitar.
Thanks. This guitar is what made me create this site. The unusual markings made me wonder what is history was. It plays great and sounds great. I have a Older strat and LP and this is what I always turn to.
