Was looking for info on my Sigma that I’ve had for since 1968. I purchased it while a freshman in college. Mine is a GCS-3. I found two sets of #s in front inside of body. 233017 and 052602. When listening to you play it sounded like you were playing my guitar. Not a great sound but a nice unique one. At 65 years of age I’ve decided to purchase a new guitar. This one is getting old and a little bowed in places it shouldn’t be.

Bought a Sigma in 1979 Sr # Sk107497 that Guitar is still being Played By my Nephew and still looks as good as it did the day I bought it , the only work I had done on it was to have the Keys Changed ,,, I tought my self how to play and I loved that guitar and next to the D28 Martin the sound is just as rich and clean as the D28 it was amazing I paid 525.00 for it in San Diego and it was worth every penny ,, looking to find a real martin for my nephew and getting my sigma back I have not found a guitar that sounds like my Sigma did …
