2 quick questions….what type of amp/cabinet are you playing through?, and what is your opinion/critique of the pickups on the spear guitar?
I am currently running this through a Line6 POD XT Live. I ran this through a Line6 Bogner SpiderValve 2×12 previously.
The pickups are OK I suppose. Not too bad but not near the sound or power of my other guitars which are rigged with Dirty Fingers now. Since I use a GK-3 divided pickup system on this guitar, I am now running it through a GR-55, so I am kind of bypassing the pickups and using the modeling through the GK-3 to my GR-55 now.
I could not do this before when I was running a GR-20.
