Guitarist Mike McQuain has been playing for over 30 years. For the past 12 years Mike has played weekly for his church’s modern worship service. He also severed as audio engineer for a large local church during part of this time. Mike currently teaches guitar at Tarpon Springs Middle School and previously spent four years working with Tarpon Elementary. He has been actively involved with the Great American Teach-In for the last seven years. Mike has played professionally for the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center’s productions of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “The Little Shop of Horrors.” He also played guitar for the Tarpon Springs High School production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Mike holds a B.A. in Audio Recording and Production and worked as a radio DJ for several years before moving into the technology sector as an application/web developer, technology trainer and consultant. He has over 25 years of technology experience, including incorporating technology into his love of music.
