Thanks, I have owned it for quit some time. Don’t play it a whole lot any more, just doesn’t look quit right on stage playing Country and Southern Rock. facebook Gene A. Nunn
That is beauty.
I am looking for David S. Winokur, the builder of this Bass. I spoke with him many years ago after I purchased the Bass. It had a write up on it in the Bass player Magazine. If anyone is in contact with David, please ask him to give me a call. 918-777-6153 Gene
Hi, everybody! This is David S. Winokur! I just did a Google search of my own name to see what I’d find and I found this photo that lead me to this website. May I please correct one piece of information here. The bass was manufactured in 1994, not 1998.
Hi David,
This Mike the Admin of AxVault. Would you be available for a Luthier profile segment that would be posted in Luthier Profiles?
Thanks AxVault for letting me finally get back with David S. Winokur. My Bass that David made was first seen in Bass Magazine back in the late 90’s when I purchased it. That is when I first visited with David. This Bass is Wonderful and is one of my Prized Axes. The patina on this Bass is fantastic, you would have to see it in person to believe how Beautiful it is and Plays!! Thanks David, just wish I had the Guitar to go along with it.
I hope I can get him to do a luthier interview. I sent him a reply
